The thinking gets better when the boardroom has mountain views. Bring your leadership team to downtown Canmore for an offsite with real privacy: your own space on a self-access code, full AV for the hybrid folks, and Main Street’s restaurants and trails a few steps away for the breaks that matter as much as the sessions.
Executive conversations need a room that keeps them. Ours are private, quiet and set up before you arrive: a big configurable table for the working sessions, booths and couches for one-on-ones, and a kitchen stocked the way you ask. For groups of under 10 people, the Spark Room is a good fit. For groups up to 20, the Thrive Room is a good fit. For groups over 25, ask us about Business Lounge options.
Tell our Corporate Events team your dates, headcount and how the days should flow, and they’ll come back with some options and availability, usually the same day.
The Thrive Room is the workhorse: bright and open-concept with a large configurable table, natural light, mountain views, and booths and couches for breakouts. The Spark Room next door runs more intimate, boardroom-flexible with a private office inside it for calls that need a door.
For groups of under 10 people, the Spark Room is a good fit, boardroom-flexible and built for focused conversation. For groups up to 20, the Thrive Room is a good fit, with a large configurable table, booths and couches on the side for breakout work, and a patio right outside. For groups over 25, ask us about Business Lounge options. We host larger groups regularly and configure the space to your number.
Every offsite booking includes:
Build the offsite around the work:
Cater it through our local Canmore partners at discounted rates, shaped to your preferences and budget, or bring your own and use the fully equipped kitchen. Coffee and tea flow all day either way. Evening wind-down drinks are welcome under an AGLC Special Event Licence, with no corkage fee.
Where can we hold an executive offsite near Calgary?
In downtown Canmore, about an hour from Calgary and twenty minutes from Banff. Close enough for a single-day drive out, far enough that the office genuinely lets go of your team.
How many people do the rooms hold for a working session?
For groups of under 10 people, the Spark Room is a good fit. For groups up to 20, the Thrive Room is a good fit. For groups over 25, ask us about Business Lounge options, and we will configure the space to your number.
Is the space actually private?
Yes. Your booking is the only one in the space, with your own self-access codes. Sensitive conversations stay in the room.
What if our headcount changes, and are there hidden fees?
Headcount can shift as the date approaches; we set the room to your final number. There are no food-and-beverage minimums here, since catering is yours to choose, and date-change and cancellation terms are laid out plainly before you commit, never buried in fine print.
What AV is available for hybrid meetings?
A 100 inch screen with projector, a 55 inch SmartTV, sound and microphones. Remote participants join without the usual laptop-on-a-chair improvisation.
Can we run a multi-day offsite?
Easily, and many teams do. The room holds your setup between days, so day two starts where day one ended instead of with another round of unpacking.
What do teams do on breaks?
Main Street’s restaurants and coffee are steps away, and the trails start minutes from the door. A mid-afternoon walk with actual mountain air does more for an agenda than a fourth coffee.
Can you handle the catering?
We’ll connect you with local partners at discounted rates and shape the menu to your budget, or you’re welcome to bring your own and use the kitchen.
How far ahead should we book?
Corporate season peaks in fall and January; a month or two ahead protects your preferred dates. Send the dates you’re weighing and we’ll confirm what’s open.
