Training Workshop

Training Workshop

Your training workshop in Canmore or Banff doesn’t belong under flickering lights in a windowless room. Our private corporate venues in the heart of downtown Canmore are made for big ideas, hands-on learning, and the kind of energy that turns “mandatory training” into “wow, that was actually amazing.”

Workshops shouldn’t feel like endurance tests. They should spark something—energy, ideas, connection.

That’s what our training workshop venues in Canmore, just minutes from Banff, are built for. Whether you’re leading a corporate training, team development day, or creative masterclass, this is where the content lands and the lightbulbs go off.

Each room is its own canvas—flexible layouts, breakout corners, writable walls, and hybrid-ready AV that actually works. Start with structure, shift to circles, spread out on the floor with markers if that’s how the magic happens. This is your space to move, teach, and create flow that fits your group.

We keep it easy: coffee’s on us, the fridge is stocked, and you’re free to bring your own catering or call in one of our local partners for lunch that doesn’t taste like “conference.” Need a second wind? Step outside for a quick reset—add a guided mountain walk, team challenge, or mindful moment to keep ideas fresh.

Whether it’s a half-day skills session or multi-day learning retreat, this is the kind of space that keeps people awake—in the best way.

Because when the environment works, people do too.

INQUIRE

  • For groups of under 10 people, the Spark Room is a good fit, boardroom-flexible and built for focused conversation. For groups up to 20, the Thrive Room is a good fit, with a large configurable table, booths and couches on the side for breakout work, and a patio right outside. For groups over 25, ask us about Business Lounge options. We host larger groups regularly and configure the space to your number.

The layout shifts with the session: rows for a lecture-style morning, clusters for group work, or an open circle when the exercise calls for it.

  • Every training workshop booking comes with:

    • The Spark Room, Thrive Room, or Business Lounge, sized to your cohort
    • A 100 inch screen and projector plus a 55 inch SmartTV
    • Sound system and microphones so every seat hears the instructor
    • A fully equipped kitchen for coffee, snacks, and lunch
    • Private self-access codes for early setup or a full-day session
    • Flexible layouts that shift from lecture rows to group clusters
  • Add-ons to keep energy up through a long session:

    • Outdoor scavenger hunts as a midday reset
    • Games night to close out a multi-day training
    • Sushi-making as a hands-on break
    • Pottery painting for a quieter pause between sessions
    • Karaoke for the last night of a longer program
  • Bring your own food and use the kitchen, or work with one of our local catering partners at a discounted rate for coffee, lunch, or snacks through the day. Either way, food stays in the same room as the training, so breaks stay short and the group stays together.

  • What size groups can a training space in Canmore hold?
For groups of under 10 people, the Spark Room is a good fit. For groups up to 20, the Thrive Room is a good fit. For groups over 25, ask us about Business Lounge options, and we will configure the space to your number.

Can the room switch between lecture-style and group work?
Yes. Layouts shift from rows facing a screen to clusters for breakout work, set up before your session starts.

Is there a screen and sound system for the instructor?
Every room has a 100 inch screen and projector plus a 55 inch SmartTV, with sound and microphones so the back row hears as well as the front.

Can we run a multi-day training program?
Yes. The room and setup carry over from day to day, so your instructor isn’t rebuilding the space each morning.

Do you support remote participants or a hybrid session?
Ask us about your setup. Tell us how many people are joining remotely and we’ll confirm what the room supports.

What are the catering options for a full-day training?
Bring your own food and use the kitchen, or book through one of our local catering partners at a discounted rate for coffee, lunch, and snacks.

Can we add a group activity to break up a long day?
Yes. Options like outdoor scavenger hunts, sushi-making, and pottery painting work well as a midday reset.

Is the space private for our group only?
Yes. The room is booked privately with self-access codes, so it’s just your training group for the day.

How walkable is the location for a lunch break?
Very. Main Street restaurants sit within a block, along with parking and the trails.

How do we book a date?
Send us your dates, group size, and what the training needs to accomplish, and our Corporate Events team will follow up with options and availability.
