Baby showers here happen in the Spark Room, the cozier of our two rooms, or the Thrive Room when the guest list grows, both right in downtown Canmore. Book them together and they become the Social Lounge, two connected rooms with a private hallway, entirely yours for the afternoon.

Round tables for a seated tea, an open floor for mingling, or a mix of both: tell us the shower you’re picturing and we’ll set the room to match, with the balloon garland up before anyone arrives.

All of this comes with the space, nothing extra to rent.

Bring your own food, from homemade dishes to your favourite bakery’s cake, or ask us about catering options. Tea and coffee are easy to arrange, and a mimosa bar is welcome, with no corkage fee and no bar minimum. Alberta just asks that one person in your group holds a Private Special Event Licence for the day: it’s $10, takes about ten minutes online through AGLC, and we’ll send you the link and walk you through it.

How many guests can your baby shower venue hold?
That depends on the style of shower. For a mingling, open-house celebration we host up to 100 guests. A seated meal works beautifully for around 60. And if it’s 10 of your closest people, we’ll set the room so it feels intimate rather than empty. Tell us your number in the inquiry form and we’ll shape the space around it.

Can we bring our own food and cake?
Yes, and most showers do. Homemade dishes, your favourite bakery’s cake, a grazing table you built yourself: all welcome. We can also share catering options if you’d rather not carry a thing.

Can we serve mimosas or champagne?
Yes — bring whatever you like, with no corkage fee and no bar minimum. For a private event, one person in your group picks up an AGLC Private Special Event Licence: $10, about ten minutes online, posted in the room on the day. We’ll send you the link and walk you through it.

Can we decorate the space ourselves?
Absolutely. Your booking includes setup time, so the balloon arch goes up calmly instead of in a panic. If you’d rather arrive to a finished room, ask about our decor styling.

Is the venue private?
Fully. The room is yours for your booking, with no strangers wandering through and no restaurant noise behind the toasts.

Can children come along?
Yes, and they get their own spot. The Bunny Den kids’ corner sits right by the Thrive Room, stocked to keep little guests busy.

What games and extras can we add?
Shower games with prizes, a photo corner with backdrop and props, our photo booth, and the audio guestbook, where guests record spoken messages for the parents-to-be to keep.

Where are you located?
Downtown Canmore, at 105, 717 – 9th Street, around 20 minutes from Banff and an hour from Calgary. Guests can wander the shops before or after.
