Galentine’s Day

Galentine’s Day

February 13th belongs to the girls. Gather yours in a private space in downtown Canmore for the Galentine’s Day the group chat has been talking about: a mimosa bar, something creative on the tables, and a whole room where the only agenda is celebrating each other.

The magic of a Galentine’s party is that nobody has to host it at home. No bow wall to build, no brunch to cook, no cleanup while everyone else leaves. We set the room, you bring the people, and February’s cold becomes the whole reason to be cozy indoors together.

Mix and match the afternoon: brunch then painting, tarot then karaoke, or one long grazing table and endless conversation. Tell our event planners what your group loves and they’ll come back with some options and availability.

INQUIRE

  • Think soft light, comfy corners, and a long table dressed for brunch. The Thrive Room does the cozy heavy lifting, and the Spark Room joins in when the group grows or the dancing starts. A boho floor picnic setup turns the afternoon into something your feed has never seen.

Hand us your colour palette and our decor styling takes it from there, or keep it simple and let the room’s warmth carry the day.

  • Every Galentine’s booking comes with:

    • The space entirely to your group, nobody else’s party in sight
    • Table and lounge layout set before you arrive
    • Sound system for the group’s shared playlist
    • Kitchen corner for brunch trays and treats
    • An afternoon or evening that runs on your schedule
  • Build your perfect Galentine’s:

    • A mimosa bar, obviously
    • Paint or mandala workshop, canvases and creativity at the table
    • Tarot and crystal readings for the curious
    • Sound bath with crystal singing bowls to end the day soft
    • Photo booth with instant prints for every gal to take home
    • Karaoke under the disco ball when the energy peaks
  • Brunch is the classic: bring your own spread, order in from a local favourite, or have it catered. Ask us and we’ll point you to options we like. Bubbly and anything else pour under an AGLC Special Event Licence, no corkage, no bar minimums, and a mimosa bar goes alcohol-free just as happily. Drinks stay indoors; the front patio is licence-free.

  • Where can I host a Galentine’s Day party in Canmore?
Right here, in a private room in downtown Canmore. Your group gets the whole space, which beats pushing tables together at a busy February brunch spot.

What do you actually do at a Galentine’s party?
Whatever your group calls fun. Our bookings mix a mimosa bar with painting, tarot readings, a sound bath, karaoke or games, usually two or three across an afternoon and evening, all set up before you arrive.

Is Galentine’s Day on February 13th?
Traditionally yes, the day before Valentine’s. But any February date works, and honestly the girls’ celebration deserves whichever day everyone can make.

How many friends can the space hold?
From an intimate 10, where the room is styled so it feels made for you, up to around 60 seated or 100 mingling if your Galentine’s is more of a movement.

Can we do a paint night as part of it?
Yes, a paint or mandala workshop is one of our favourite Galentine’s add-ons. Canvases on the table, mimosas within reach, and everyone leaves with proof of the day.

Can you host on a weekday in mid-February?
Usually yes, and weekdays often have more room than the weekend around Valentine’s. Send your date and we’ll confirm quickly.

What’s a good indoor group activity near Banff in February?
This kind of afternoon. We’re twenty minutes from Banff in downtown Canmore, and when it’s frozen outside, a warm private room full of your favourite people is the move.

How far ahead should we book?
Valentine’s week fills across the valley, so a few weeks to a couple of months ahead is wise. The group chat takes longer to agree on a date than we do to confirm it.
