There’s sound healing—and then there’s the way it feels here. In Canmore and Banff, our sound bath, meditation and retreat venues are designed for deep resonance and effortless calm, where every note from a crystal bowl or gong seems to hum in harmony with the mountains themselves.
Whether you’re leading or simply listening, this is where the world goes quiet enough for something beautiful to happen.
Our sound bath venues in Canmore, minutes from Banff, were created for experiences that go beyond the surface—restorative, grounding, and deeply human. Each space has gentle acoustics, warm lighting, and mountain stillness woven right in, making it ideal for sound healing, meditation, journalling circles, or cacao ceremonies.
Facilitators love it because everything’s ready the moment they arrive. No setup stress—just space to play, guide, and flow. You’ll find high-quality yoga mats, meditation cushions, cozy pillows, and fluffy blankets already waiting, plus a tea and coffee bar to create that quiet post-session moment people never forget.
And if you’re not a facilitator? You can still experience it all. We partner with incredible local practitioners who offer private and group sound baths for retreats, birthdays, wellness days, or bachelorette experiences. You bring your people—we’ll handle the rest.
With multiple venue sizes and layouts, we match your vision perfectly—intimate and cocoon-like for smaller circles, or open and expansive for group immersions. Each one offers the same grounding energy, soft glow, and everything you need to go deep.
This isn’t background noise. It’s a full-body reset. A vibration that stays with you long after the last tone fades.
The room sets up low and soft: yoga mats and meditation cushions already laid out, cozy pillows and blankets within reach, warm lighting instead of anything harsh. Downtown Canmore, twenty minutes from Banff, so visiting groups can fold a session into a longer weekend without much extra driving.
A larger group immersion can spread out up to 100. A seated circle holds around 60. And a private session for around 10 sets up cocoon-like instead of getting lost in an open room.

Add-ons to build out your session:
Tea and coffee are already part of the setup, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks or a light spread for after the session. Alcohol isn’t usually part of a sound bath, but if your booking pairs it with a bigger event, bring-your-own drinks come in under an AGLC Special Event Licence, no corkage and no bar minimum, staying indoors with the front patio licence-free.
What actually happens at a sound bath?
You lie down, get comfortable, and let the sound do the work while a practitioner plays crystal singing bowls and other instruments. No chanting, no experience needed, nothing to get right. Most sessions wrap with a quiet moment and tea before you head back out.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself, in comfortable clothes. Mats, cushions, pillows and blankets are already out, plus a tea and coffee bar for after. Bring an eye mask or an extra layer if you have a favourite, nothing is required.
Can we book a private sound bath for a birthday or bachelorette?
Yes. We work with local practitioners who run private group sessions for birthdays, bachelorette weekends, wellness days and retreats. Send us your date and group size and we’ll set it up.
I’m a facilitator, can I rent the space for my own sessions?
Yes. The room arrives with mats, cushions, pillows and blankets already out, gentle acoustics and warm lighting, so there’s no setup on your end. Bring your bowls and your practice, and tell us your usual group size so we match you to the right room.
Is a sound bath safe if I’m pregnant or sensitive to sound?
Sound baths run at gentle, therapeutic volumes, nothing like a concert. If you’re pregnant, check with your doctor first, then let us or the practitioner know so you can be set up comfortably with extra support. The same goes for sound sensitivity, mention it beforehand and the practitioner will adjust.
What if I fall asleep or can’t sit still?
Both are normal. Falling asleep happens to plenty of people, and if you’re a fidgeter you can shift, stretch or roll over whenever you need. There’s no posture to hold, just rest, however that looks for you.
How many people can join a group session?
We have multiple room sizes, so a small circle of four or five feels cocoon-like while a bigger group gets an open, expansive layout. Tell us your headcount and we’ll match the room to it.
Do I need any experience with meditation or sound healing?
None. First-timers make up most of our groups. The practitioner guides the whole session, so all you have to do is lie down and let it happen.
Where is the venue, and how far from Banff?
