Bridal Lounge

Bridal Lounge

Your wedding morning deserves slow coffee, good light and zero panic. The Bridal Lounge in downtown Canmore gives you cozy corners for mimosas and snacks, mirrors made for gown photos, and space for the whole crew to breathe, so you float into the dress instead of tripping over curling cords.

This isn’t your standard hotel room scramble with curling irons fighting for outlets and dresses draped over every surface. The Bridal Lounge was designed for calm mornings, happy tears, and the kind of laughter that sets the tone for your whole day. Think plush seating where your crew can sip mimosas, full-length mirrors that don’t crop out half your gown, and a steamer standing by to save the day when your veil gets crumpled in its bag. There’s space to spread out, touch-ups that don’t feel rushed, and a vibe that’s less “conference center carpet” and more “boutique magazine spread.”

Your photographer will thank you for the light-filled space, your mom will thank you for having somewhere to sit while she tears up over your vows, and your bridesmaids will thank you for the snacks. And just next door, connected by a private hallway, the Groom’s Den gives the guys their own spot for morning drinks, high-fives, last-minute pep talks, and a few rounds of poker or foosball, close enough to feel the excitement, but safely away from any accidental first looks.

INQUIRE

  • The Bridal Lounge sits in downtown Canmore, a light-filled room built for one job: getting your whole crew ready without anyone tripping over a curling iron cord. Plush seating lines the walls for the moms and bridesmaids waiting their turn, full-length mirrors show off the whole gown, and vanity stations with lighted mirrors give your hair and makeup artists proper room to work.

A private hallway connects straight to the Groom’s Den next door, so the two sides of the morning stay close but never collide before the ceremony. Tucked in the corner, a backdrop and gold-framed mirror give your photographer somewhere fun to shoot between hair appointments, and a steamer stands ready for any veil that traveled in a suitcase.

  • What’s included in the Bridal Lounge:

    • Full-length mirrors for gown and getting-ready photos
    • Vanity stations with lighted mirrors for your hair and makeup team
    • A steamer for last-minute dress and veil touch-ups
    • Plush lounge seating for your bridal party and family
    • Natural light throughout the space
    • Private hallway connection to the Groom’s Den
  • Popular add-ons for your getting-ready morning:

    • A mimosa bar for the crew while hair and makeup happen
    • Photo corner with backdrop and props for the fun shots between appointments
    • Decor styling to match your morning to your wedding palette
    • Photo booth if you want the whole group in on the pictures
  • We never supply or serve alcohol, so mimosas and bubbly come from you and get served under an AGLC Special Event Licence, no corkage and no bar minimums attached. Food is just as flexible: order breakfast and grazing boards from any local spot you love, or bring it yourselves, and either way there’s counter space ready once the spread arrives.

  • Why book a bridal lounge instead of getting ready in a hotel room?
Hotel rooms mean one mirror, two outlets and a dress draped over the minibar. The Bridal Lounge gives your whole crew plush seating, full-length mirrors and proper light to get ready without the scramble.

How many people can get ready in the Bridal Lounge?
There’s room for your bridal party, your moms and your hair and makeup team to work at the same time, no waiting for one bathroom mirror. Tell us your headcount when you inquire and we’ll confirm the room fits your crew comfortably.

How early can we get into the space on the wedding morning?
Hair and makeup for a full bridal party usually runs four to five hours before the ceremony, so we build your access around your stylist’s timeline. Send us your ceremony time and headcount and we’ll work backward together.

Is there proper space and light for our hair and makeup artists?
Yes. Vanity stations with lighted mirrors and plenty of natural light mean your artists can set up properly instead of working out of a bag in a dim corner.

What about the groom and his crew?
They get the Groom’s Den next door, connected by a private hallway. Morning drinks, games and pep talks happen on their side while your side stays calm, with zero risk of an accidental first look in the hallway between you.

Can we bring mimosas and snacks?
Yes. Food is easy to bring in or order from a spot you love, and for the bubbly you bring your own and serve it under an AGLC Special Event Licence, a straightforward permit we’ll walk you through.

Is there a steamer for my dress or veil?
There is, standing by and ready. Veils and gowns almost always come out of their travel bags with a crease somewhere, and a quick steam saves the morning.

Can we take photos in the Bridal Lounge itself?
Please do. The light, the mirrors and the photo corner were made for it, and a lot of couples’ galleries end up full of lounge moments: the dress going on, the toast before you walk out the door.

Where is the Bridal Lounge, and how far from Banff ceremony sites?
We’re at 105, 717 – 9th Street in downtown Canmore, about twenty minutes from Banff. That makes us an easy base whether your ceremony is in Canmore, Banff or somewhere between the two.

How much does the Bridal Lounge cost?
It depends on how long you need the space and the size of your crew. Send us your date, ceremony time and headcount and we’ll come back with options and availability for the morning you have in mind.
