Teepee Sleepover

Teepee Sleepover

Some birthdays deserve a campout, minus the weather and the 3am bear thoughts. Our teepee sleepover party turns a private room in downtown Canmore into a cozy camp: a teepee for each kid, fairy-light glow, pajamas as the dress code, and a movie flickering while the snacks disappear.

We build the camp before anyone arrives: teepees in a ring, blankets and cushions deep enough to disappear into, and the room lit like a storybook. The birthday kid picks the theme (the Llama Pajama version is a house favourite) and the night runs itself: games, a movie on the big screen, whispered secrets, popcorn everywhere. We handle the setup, the hosting and, mercifully, the cleanup.

Send our event planners the birthday kid’s name, age and theme, and they’ll come back with some options and availability.

INQUIRE

  • The Spark Room becomes the camp: teepees pitched in a circle, fairy lights strung low, cushions and blankets layered until the floor disappears. The projector turns one wall into the movie screen and the disco ball stands in for stars.

Grownups keep their own basecamp in the Thrive Room parents’ lounge next door, and the Bunny Den kids’ room absorbs any small siblings still full of energy.

  • Every teepee party includes:

    • Teepee camp setup, styled to the theme, built before you arrive
    • Full hosting through the party and cleanup after
    • Big-screen movie setup with sound
    • Non-alcoholic drinks for the kids, coffee and tea for the adults
    • A private room, just your campers
  • Make camp unforgettable:

    • Theme styling: Llama Pajama, mermaid cove, space camp, or the birthday kid’s own idea
    • Photo booth for pajama portraits
    • Karaoke before lights-dim
    • Parents’ lounge next door for the adults on duty
  • Sleepover food is its own genre: popcorn for the movie, a cake moment, and the snacks kids negotiate over. Bring your own, order pizza in, or ask us and we’ll point you to local options. Kids’ drinks plus coffee and tea for the adults are included, and the kitchen corner keeps refills coming.

  • What is a teepee sleepover party?
A campout built indoors: a teepee for each kid, blankets and fairy lights, pajamas required, a movie on the big screen and games until the giggles wear out. All the magic of a sleepover without your living room paying for it.

Do the kids actually stay overnight?
Most families run it as an evening in pajamas with a pickup time, and it loses none of the magic. If you’re picturing a true overnight, ask us and we’ll talk through what that would take.

    What themes can we choose?
Anything the birthday kid dreams up. The Llama Pajama theme is a favourite, and mermaid, space and movie-night versions all translate beautifully to teepee camp.

    How many kids fit?
The camp scales with the guest list; tell us your numbers and we’ll set the right number of teepees with room left for the movie floor. For younger first-time campers, a smaller circle of four to six kids is often the sweetest spot.

    What ages does it suit?
Around four to fourteen. Younger campers love the fort of it all; older ones stay for the movie and the midnight-feast energy.

    What’s included?
The full teepee setup styled to your theme, hosting, cleanup, a movie setup, and drinks for kids and adults. You bring pajamas, the cake and the guest list.

    Do parents stay?
Whatever works for your crowd. The parents’ lounge next door keeps the adults comfortable and caffeinated while the camp runs itself.

What if a camper fades early or wants to go home?
It happens, especially with younger kids, and it’s easy here. Parents relax in the lounge next door, so a quiet early pickup takes thirty seconds and the rest of the camp never breaks stride.

How far ahead should we book?
The teepee setup takes real staging, so a few weeks’ notice is kind. Weekend evenings book first, especially in winter birthday season.
